Templed Retreat
A pilgrimage into presence, right relationship, and the sacred
June 4–10, 2027
42 Acres, Somerset, England
Templed is a six-night retreat that I co-facilitate with Joanna Haines.
Each Templed retreat is shaped by the landscape in which we gather. Rather than bringing the same retreat to different locations, we allow each place to become part of the experience.
Next June we will gather at 42 Acres in Somerset, England.
Set within 173 acres of woodland, meadows, gardens, water, and open countryside, 42 Acres has been thoughtfully tended through ecological restoration, regenerative growing, and a sincere commitment to living in closer relationship with the natural world.
What Joanna and I both recognized immediately was the coherence of the place. The values of the land are reflected in the way it is cared for, the food that is grown and prepared, the buildings that have been restored, and the people who steward it.
It felt like somewhere we wanted to gather.
Templed is an invitation to step outside the usual pace of life and enter a quieter rhythm of attention.
Throughout the week we will explore presence, right relationship, and the ongoing practice of turning toward what is sacred, holy, and true.
Our days will include contemplative and embodied practices, meditation, intentional walking, meaningful conversation, silence, time in nature, personal reflection, and periods of rest. One day will be devoted to personal exploration in Glastonbury, a place shaped by centuries of pilgrimage, devotion, myth, and spiritual seeking.
While many people know me through Yoga Nidra, this is not a Yoga Nidra retreat. Nor is it organized around any single spiritual framework or modality.
Instead, Joanna and I draw from many years of experience in contemplative practice, embodiment, retreat facilitation, and inner inquiry. We remain responsive to the group and to what genuinely serves each stage of the retreat as it unfolds.
Our intention is not to lead participants toward a predetermined experience, but to create the conditions for deeper listening, sincere inquiry, and meaningful encounter with what is true and most Holy.
Templed is intended for those who have already engaged in meaningful inner work and who feel ready to enter a retreat with openness, maturity, and personal responsibility.
If this retreat speaks to you, I would love to welcome you.
